Born in Naples in 1969, Giampiero Assumma is a documentary and fine-art photographer.
His body of work is comprised of many long term projects that offer their own constructive
interpretation of the human condition.
Photos are marked with an existentialist character, and often explore borders and outer-limit
experiences.
Alienation, faith, addictions, and rituals are also recurring themes throughout his series.
He is currently based in Moscow.
